Shipping & Delivery Policy
This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines the terms and conditions for the dispatch and handling of clear aligner products manufactured by Synapse HealthTech Pvt. Ltd.. As a medical device manufacturer, Synapse supplies aligners exclusively through licensed orthodontists and clinics, who are responsible for clinical treatment and end-user delivery. This policy adheres to applicable Indian laws, including the Medical Device Rules, 2017, under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
1. Shipping Coverage
We currently provide shipping services to all serviceable PIN codes across India. International shipping is not available at this time.
2. Order Processing Time
For standard services, orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days after receipt of full payment and approval of the treatment plan.
For customized medical devices such as clear aligners, order processing may take 7 to 10 business days, subject to the complexity of the case and clinical validation requirements.
All shipments are dispatched to the registered address of the treating clinic or orthodontist, not directly to the patient.
3. Shipping Timeline
Following dispatch, delivery typically occurs within 3 to 7 business days, depending on the destination and courier service. Tracking details will be provided to the clinic upon dispatch. The treating clinic is responsible for communicating order status and ensuring the aligners reach the patient.
4. Shipping Charges
Standard shipping is provided free of cost unless otherwise stated. Expedited or special shipping requests will incur additional charges, which must be approved and paid in advance. All shipping charges are billed to the clinic, which may pass them on to the patient at its discretion.
5. Delivery Delays
While we strive to deliver within the stipulated timelines, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to courier disruptions, weather conditions, regulatory checks, or public holidays. In such cases, Synapse will communicate with the clinic and provide updates, but assumes no liability for delays after dispatch.
6. Address Accuracy
It is the responsibility of the treating clinic or orthodontist to ensure the accuracy of the delivery address provided at the time of order placement. Synapse HealthTech is not responsible for failed or delayed deliveries resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address information.
7. Failed Delivery Attempts
In the event that the courier partner is unable to deliver the package due to recipient unavailability or incorrect address:
Reattempts will be made as per the courier partner's policy.
If the order is returned to us, re-shipping costs will be borne by the clinic or orthodontist.
Any rescheduling of delivery must be coordinated by the treating clinic.
8. Product Inspection
Upon receipt of the shipment, clinics are advised to inspect the packaging. If there is visible tampering or damage, the clinic should refuse acceptance and notify Synapse HealthTech immediately. Claims for damaged goods will not be accepted after the package has been opened or handed over to the patient.
9. Clinic and Orthodontist Responsibility
Synapse HealthTech supplies clear aligners as a medical device manufacturer and does not offer direct-to-patient services. The clinic and treating orthodontist are responsible for:
Receiving shipments on behalf of the patient
Delivering the aligners to the patient
Managing any logistics or treatment-related issues
Facilitating communication for replacements, cancellations, or adjustments
10. Limited Liability
Synapse HealthTech Pvt. Ltd's liability is limited strictly to the manufacturing and delivery of the clear aligner product to the treating clinic. The company holds no responsibility for:
Clinical treatment outcomes
Direct patient delivery
Any loss, claim, or damages arising after the product is delivered to the clinic
